DEVICE FOR MAKING WOODEN ARTICLES OF THE TIMBERING Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: device has bed 1, guideways 2, drive 3, mechanism 4 of the profile shaping, mechanism 5 for sampling the longitudinal slot mounted behind mechanism 4, mechanism 6 for sampling cross slots mounted behind mechanism 5, lunette 7 and carriages. The new feature is that bed 1 with the processed article is mounted on guideways 2 for reciprocal displacement by means of drive 3. Each mechanism is made as an electric motor with a milling cutter on its shaft and is mounted on the carriages, correspondingly. The carriages are mounted correspondingly on the guideways perpendicular to guideways 2. Mechanism 4 has a milling cutter made as a frustum with cutting edges. Lunette 7 is made with spherical supports with a thickening and is set up between mechanisms 4 and 5 on the same foundation as the guideways have. The device also allows to cut the side piece by means of mechanism 4 with a milling cutter. EFFECT: simpler design with the simultaneous enhanced quality. 3 cl, 7 dwg
