FIELD: mechanical engineering; applicable in machining machine-tools, for instance, grinding machines. SUBSTANCE: the offered device has hollow tool-carrying spindle 1 with supporting member 2 and mechanism 3 of reciprocation of tool-carrying spindle 1 on driving shaft 4 from eccentric 5 and spring 6. Mechanism 3 is made in form of reducing gear 7, whose fast worm shaft 8 is mounted coaxially with driving shaft 4, which is enclosed in bearing support 9 of body 10 installed on base 11 for advancing to machined work. To enhance reliability of operation of spindle unit, slow shaft 13 of reducing gear 7 has eccentrics 5 mounted on its output ends engageable with supporting members 2 of tool-carrying spindle 1 through bearing supports 14 of hinged levers 15 by means of pushing rods 16 and 17 with units 18 and 19 for adjustment of pressing made in form of thread bushings 20 with pushing rods 16 and 17 introduced into their central registering holes 21. Pushing rods 16 and 17 are connected with threaded ends 22 locked in bushing 20. Other ends 23 of bushings 20 are made in form of registering cylindrical necks 24 and rigidly connected with supporting member 2 of tool-carrying spindle 1. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
