FIELD: measurement of physico-chemical characteristics of liquid media. SUBSTANCE: method consists in motion of spherical probe in liquid under test, calculation of time constant exponent characterizing the change in probe speed in transient mode and determination of viscosity through calculation. Magnetude of horizontal component of motion L or speed V or acceleration dV/dt are measured at section of probe decelerated motion by horizontal component at moment of time "t" after beginning of motion; time constant is calculated through solving the respective equation.
