FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: heap separator has casing with sides. Thrower, pneumatic inertial chamber, air duct, sluice gate, air separator-type screen with oscillating conveyance trough, upper and lower screens and undersize screen fan are positioned in casing. Separator is further provided with additional threshing unit positioned within casing. Additional threshing unit has shell with inlet and outlet openings. Beater cylinder is mounted within shell and receiving chamber is positioned on shell. The length of shell is equal to the width of casing. Inlet opening of shell is positioned below its horizontal axis and is spaced from outlet opening by a distance equal to 1/3 of its length. Heap guiding trough is attached in inclined position relative to casing side on lower screen. Air column connected with air duct is secured on outer surface of casing side. Air column has receiver positioned in its lower part, connected with casing and provided with separating screen. Adjusting valve is positioned at location adjacent to air column-air duct joint. EFFECT: increased efficiency in separating unfanned or combed heap into grain and grain free fractions by additional threshing of heap to provide complete threshing. 2 dwg
