METHOD FOR TREATING EXTRASPHINCTER PERIPROCTITIS Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves dissecting purulent path up to the intestinal wall from the side of the perineal wound in the postponed period, after opening and draining abscess of pararectal fat. Internal orifice is dissected by applying triangular cut in the anal orifice with separating lateral borders of the cut by 3-5 mm. Internal orifice of periproctitis is dissected within the space of mucous-submucous layer. The wound created in the anal canal is tamponed by muscular graft cut from the anal arrector disposed on the side of lesion by dissecting distal part of this levator with graft on pedicle being formed and transferred from the perineal wound into the anal canal wound with its being attached to the external border of the cut. Next to it the anal canal wound is sutured completely with mucous and muscular tissues being caught into the sutures. EFFECT: reliable operation method; prevented postoperation complication.
