FIELD: timber industry; self-propelled skidders. SUBSTANCE: machine has self-propelled chassis with turnable mounted on frame. Turnable is installed for rotation in horizontal plane. Hinge- mounted on turnable for turning in vertical plane is gantry boom with clamp arranged in travelling position in cross plane passing through zone of machine center of masses. Clamp body is arch with gripping levers hinge-mounted on ends. Arch is connected with gantry boom legs by cross axles some ends of which are rigidly connected with arch. Other ends of cross axles are installed for movement and locking on guides mounted on gantry legs by means of locking device. Hinge-mounted on turnable for turning in longitudinal vertical plane are lower ends of rods. Rods are located symmetrically relative to longitudinal axis of boom. Upper ends of rods are installed for movement in above-indicated guides. Hinge joints securing lower ends of rods and lower ends of gantry boom legs are arranged on turnable diametrically opposite to each other.
