METHOD FOR FORMATION OF WEAVER'S BEAM AND DEVICE FOR ITS EMBODIMENT Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: textile industry; preparation department of weaving. SUBSTANCE: method for formation of weaver's beam includes winding on warping beams of warp yarns with same length determined by the number of revolutions and subsequent unwinding of yarns at the same angular velocity. Warping beams are designed with preset winding parameters by determination of the coefficients of the mathematic model, and they are wound by same model with same end radii, bulk density and length, determined by the same number of revolutions and by additionally determined the same coefficients and radius increment by turning angle. After winding of a lot of warping beams, statistic characteristics are determined by the end radius, spread of draft values for the given linear density of yarn by the value of deviation of end radii from the preset values and during unwinding the yarn from warping beams, real draft is regulated within the rated range. Device for embodiment of the method has mechanical brake 1 creating initial braking torque on shaft 2, clutch 3, bevel pinions 4 and 5 connecting warping bean with linear shaft 6, electrically controlled brake unit 7 and control unit, braking torque control unit 8, transucers 9 and 10 of number of revolutions, drawing value computations unit 11, pulling shaft 12 pulling warp threads of warping beams 13, 2 cl, 1 dwg. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
