FIELD: automatic control. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine parameters of angular movement, in particular, of projections of vector of angular and linear speeds and acceleration. Method includes reading of information on value of parameter along axes of coupled coordinate system by specified information and monitoring functioning of pickups on basis of comparison of information with excessive number of pickups. In this case sensitivity axes of all pickups are set with lack of parallelism at maximum possible angles between them. Out of functioning pickups there are selected four chosen at random for all possible combinations of threes out of four given pickups. Projections of parameter on to axis coupled to coordinate system are determined by projections on to sensitivity axes of pickups. Obtained projections of parameter on to axis of coupled system of coordinates are compared between themselves by each axis correspondingly. If value of projection of parameters for one of trees exceeds permissible value then pickup which is not included into given three is rejected. System for implementation of method has eight pickups 1-8 of parameter, object 9 of coordinate system, units 10-12 for computation of projections of parameters.
