FIELD: quantum electronics. SUBSTANCE: method depends for interaction between microwave signals and optical wave resulting in approximately two-fold increase in optical wave power and frequency. Some portion of this wave power goes for pumping to scale-of-two degraded frequency divider upon reception of optical wave used in frequency conversion. Waveguide-type device implementing this method makes it possible to obtain generation of coherent optical radiation during microwave range pumping. EFFECT: improved power and frequency of optical wave.
