FIELD: automation, in particular, fish searching hydroacoustic equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has N counting independent like channels, each having ultrasonic converter, control unit and transmission tract connected in series, reception tract, time automatic amplification regulation system and peak detector connected in series and counter whose output makes channel output, reception-transmission commutator connected to transmission tract output and to reception tract input and connected to ultrasonic converter. Apparatus is further provided with first comparator whose input is connected to output of peak detector and output is connected to first input of coincidence circuit, second comparator, integrator and timer connected in series. Second input of timer is connected to control unit input. Input of second comparator is connected to input of first comparator. Timer output is connected to second input of coincidence circuit whose output is connected to counter input. Second input of control unit is connected with second input of time automatic amplification regulation system. Apparatus has multiplexer, whose inputs are connected to information outputs of counting channels, and multiplector whose inputs are connected to outputs of counting channels, synchronization unit whose outputs are connected to inputs of control units and to second inputs of timers in each channel, channel selector whose output is connected to control input of multiplexer. Output of multiplexer is connected to input of indication device which is output of apparatus. EFFECT: wider counting zone area and provision for operation under any conditions. 2 dwg
