FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: rotor of centrifugal separator includes housing with cover and bottom, mounted inside it removable packets of cone-shaped insertions forming working gaps and insertion holder having inside a cavity for feeding the initial liquid into slime space of rotor. External surface of insertion holder with packet of insertions has shape of truncated cone whose larger base faces the cover. Insertions with working gaps between them are made in insertion holder body so that gap length decreases towards housing bottom. Channels for disposal of clarified liquid are formed by vertical turnings made in insertion holder wall. Innovation concerns equipment for separating suspensions containing considerable quantity of solid phase. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of suspension separation. 2 dwg
