FIELD: equipment for centrifugal separation of liquids in food, medical and chemical industries. SUBSTANCE: self-discharging separator includes drum installed on vertical shaft and containing base with discharging slots of sediment and cover with channels for discharge of separated liquid. Drum accommodates insert holder, package of clarifying inserts, package of separating inserts having vertical channels for passage of clarified liquid and discharge of separated light fraction, and separating plate located between packages with formation of clearance between plate and upper clarifying insert of package for supply of clarified liquid to said channel of separating insert package. Locking piston is located in drum base. Lower part of insert holder has slots for supply of initial liquid to clearances between clarifying inserts of package. Inserts are made without holes. EFFECT: reduced losses of product in process of separation and improved servicing conditions. 3 dwg
