FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has flexible moving member, driving part to provide movement of member and large number of centering members, each with through hole for moving member in center. Centering members are connected with each other and are moved together with movable member so that distance between corresponding centering members can be changed. It has also special arrangement providing passage to maintain and direct centering members in motion. Column is portable, when telescoped, and it can be formed into longer column, as compared with standard one.
