FIELD: afterpurification of drinking water; can be used in regions where drinking water contains toxicants in the form of organic compounds, petroleum products, benzpyrene, halogen-containing compounds, compounds of toxic metals, residual chlorine, metals influencing the organoleptic properties of water, as well as bacterial and virus pollutions, and parasitic pathogens. SUBSTANCE: the installation has a compressor, whose air line is connected to an ozonizer, bridge rectifier, whose AC diagonal lead is connected to the feed wire; connected between the negative and positive leads of the bridge rectifier are a thyristor, with a control system connected to the control electrode, and a chain consisting of a series-connected capacitor and primary winding of a high-voltage transformer, whose secondary winding is connected to the ozonizer that is series-connected to the contact chamber and sorption system via the ozone-air line. A capacitor is cut in between the lead of the AC diagonal of the bridge rectifier and feed wire, this capacitor provides for thyristor operating conditions enhancing the installation capacity in ozone and water purification efficiency.
