FIELD: food-processing industry for cooling milk, juices and aqueous solutions. SUBSTANCE: device has reservoir with heat-transfer agent supply branch pipe, heat-insulated vessel for low-temperature heat-transfer agent, heat-transfer agent proportioning unit, pipe line with spraying head located inside reservoir and vent located in upper zone of reservoir. Spraying head is made in form of manifold fitted on float. Located on additional float temperature sensors for liquid and gas contained in reservoir. Spraying head may be made in form of two manifolds fitted on two floats. Device is provided with propeller with drive mounted in reservoir below expected level of liquid. Vent at inlet section is provided with horizontal inlet passages. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 cl, 2 dwg
