FIELD: separation of materials. SUBSTANCE: device comprises container with inlet and outlet branch pipes and accommodates a float with outlet pipe attached thereto and connected with movable pipeline for discharge of light liquid. Float has zero buoyancy in light liquid while outlet pipe is secured on its side surface near its upper edge. Outlet pipe is protected by longitudinal rib on side surface of float. Said outlet pipe may be installed in longitudinal channel on side surface of float. To improve fluidity of viscous fluid, the float surface may be heated.
