FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: process includes the following stages: mixing of conducting metal powder with heat-resistant powdered material of higher melting point than conducting metal powder; molding of mixture obtained to produce blank; pre-sintering of blank in high-purity hydrogen environment; final sintering; packing, and degassing of blank by diffusion welding in vacuum. EFFECT: provision for combining final sintering, packing, and degassing of contact material blank in s single operation of diffusion welding.
