FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: roller has inner and outer holders, lubricant, lubricant reservoir and sealing members. Outer and inner holders contact with their spherical surfaces. Bores of larger and smaller diameter made in ends of outer holder are positioned concentrically with respect to contact surfaces. Resilient sealing members of round or rectangular section positioned within smaller diameter grooves make an interference fit with spherical surface of inner holder. Rigid washers are expanded into grooves of larger diameter or fixed there by deformation. Outer holder has axial slot with width exceeding that of inner holder. Slot is filled with paste containing metal-cladding additive. Outer surface of outer holder may be made curvilinear, for instance spherical, or may be cylindrical. Cavity is communicated with contacting sphere through openings. Composite parts of inner holder are parts of sphere facing with their larger diameters one toward the other. EFFECT: increased efficiency by taking up immense radial and axial loadings and prolonged service life. 9 cl, 5 dwg
