FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: forceps is made in the form of two curved branches of niccolite-titanium wire with a shape memory effect, parallel-positioned and connected at the ends with C-shaped connection straps, which prevents ligation at resection of the pancreas cauda and corpus, and preserves the duodenum at resection of the whole pancreas. In a cooled state the forceps branches are parted to a size exceeding the lateral size of the pancreas and installed in the zone of resection. At warming the branches close up and clamp the pancreas, provide for a shut-off of the pancreatic duct and blood vessels required for resection. EFFECT: enhanced convenience in use. 2 cl, 3 dwg
