FIELD: separation of materials. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal separator comprises rotor provided with base, cover and plate stack fitted on ribs of the plate holder, device for discharging purified liquid, and supply pipe. The plates are provided with inner and outer flanges. The supply pipe is introduced into the plate holder for supplying the initial suspension. The inner flange of each plate, excluding the bottom plate, and the cover, between the ribs of the plate holder, are provided with grooves. The radial dimension of the grooves increases from the bottom plate to the cover. The dimension of the grooves in the bottom plate is equal to the maximum dimension of the grooves in the inner flange of the plate. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 dwg
