FIELD: separating and mixing. SUBSTANCE: separator has rotor that consist of base 1 and cover 2. Holder 3 for plates is received within the rotor. The holder is provided with a pack of plates 4 having openings for supplying suspension to spaces between the plates and nozzles for discharging sediment positioned at base 1 of the rotor. Plates 4 has additional openings. The openings are arranged along the generatrix of plate 4. Main opening is nearest to the center and used for supplying suspension to the space between plates. Diameter of the main opening exceeds diameter of additional one. A distance between adjacent edges of these openings is less than diameter of the additional opening. Passages 8 for supplying raw suspension to passages 9,10 are provided between conical surface of holder 3 and base 1 of the rotor. The passages are formed with openings of main and additional opening rows of plates 4. Passages for discharging clarified fluid from the rotor is provided in holder 3.
