FIELD: studying and investigation of hydrodynamics in separation processes, estimation of uniformity of initial suspension loading in interplate gaps along plate package length. SUBSTANCE: gage probes in the form of tubes are inserted in interplate gaps. One end of the tube is located at feed passages, another end is located at centrifuged effluent passage with open end facing rotor axis. Bands of illuminated photofilm are fixed inside tubes and on fins of plate holder in centrifuged effluent passages. Then developer and fixer are passed through the rotor with intermediate flushing by water till light and dark spots appear on photofilm. In so doing, when flushing the volumetric flow rate of photo solutions and water in rotor is increased at each subsequent exposure. Process suspension, e.g. suspension of albumin-vitamin concentrate may be used as developer. EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurements. 3 cl, 4 dwg
