FIELD: mechanical engineering; automation of process in transportation devices taking in pallets with aerated lime concrete block from form-removing station, automatically moving pallet in zone of horizontal block cutting and stopping of pallet in zone of cross and longitudinal cutting and hump removing installation. SUBSTANCE: electric drive of transportation device provides smooth automatic control of rotational speed with possibility of program- controlled movement, deceleration, acceleration, stopping and return of carriage in initial position. Provided are feedforward and feedback with stepless control under manual and automatic operation conditions with additional visual checking from control station. Electric drive is simple in design, easy to manufacture, and it features high reliability and long service life. Operation of transportation device under automatic control conditions sharply increases capacity. Time taken for separate operations is reduced and operator's faults and breakage of device and damage to aerated concrete are precluded. EFFECT: improved ergonomic characteristics owing to automation of production process and use of original power supply and control of DC separately excited motor. 11 dwg
