FIELD: mechanical engineering, metal structures corrosion protection, galvanostegy, electrochemical coatings in particular. SUBSTANCE: shinning zinc-plating electrolyte has, mass %: zinc salt (in terms of metal) 1.0 - 1.3; sodium sulfate 3.0 - 3.5; hide glue 0.20 - 0.25; ambrosia artimisiifolia roots infusion (in terms of dry mass) 0.5 - 0.7; water - balance. Introduction of ambrosia artimisiifolia roots infusion as shinning forming addition provides increase of electrolyte scattering capability to 72 - 73 % and increase of shinning degree up to 93 -95 %. Interval of allowed value of cathodic density of current is equal to 1 - 18 A/ dm2, current output - 98 - 99%. EFFECT: improved quality of zinc-plated coatings corrosion protection. 2 tbl
