FIELD: railway transport testing facilities. SUBSTANCE: device for testing rail track has frame resting on running bogies with track loading mechanism mounted on frame between bogies. Device has also apparatuses for measuring and recording condition of track under load, including linear displacement sensors. Track loading mechanism has hydraulic cylinders rigidly secured by their housings on frame and arranged at both sides from longitudinal plane of symmetry of device, and wheels for engagement with track rails, wheels being secured on hydraulic cylinder rods. Linear displacement sensors are mounted on rods of two hydraulic cylinders located at different sides of longitudinal plane of symmetry. Rodless spaces of hydraulic cylinders communicate with delivery main lines of hydraulic system which include pressure transmitters and pressure valves controlled by apparatuses for measuring and recording condition of track under load. With device moved along track to be tested loading force and track deformation caused by loading are continuously recorded. When track deformation reaches maximum tolerable value, load on track is decreased. Device is moved along track at a speed determined on condition of equality of time of acting of preset load and time of real operating load on track in service.
