FIELD: load-handling equipment; boom cranes mounted on rail vehicles. SUBSTANCE: railway crane has platform body on running bogies, mechanism to provide self- propelled movement of crane made in form of two similar transmitting torque to axle of one of wheelsets of corresponding running bogie, and hydraulic equipment mounted on platform body. Platform body is furnished with turnable outriggers with jacks. Hydraulic equipment of railway crane includes hydraulic drive of turnable outriggers. Each self-propelled travel motion mechanism drive has hydraulic drive with axial piston reversible controllable hydraulic motor. Hydraulic drives mentioned above are placed in communication with tank by means of main lines and with common supply source through three-position electromagnetically controlled distributor by means of other main lines. Three-position distributor provides unloading of common supply source in one of its positions. Main lines connecting three-position distributor with common supply source and hydraulic drives on turnable outriggers are placed in communication with tank through corresponding safety valves. According to other design version, each hydraulic motor of self-propelled travel motion mechanism hydraulic drive is made for hydraulic braking by means of valve cluster including two safety valves installed in parallel and in different direction between main lines connecting hydraulic motor with above-indicated three-position distributor, each main line being additionally connected with tank through corresponding check valve. Proposed invention makes it possible to convert railway crane with electromechanical drive of self-propelled travel motion mechanism into railway crane with crane with electromechanical drive of self-propelled travel motion mechanism into railway crane with hydromechanical travel motion mechanism. EFFECT: improved efficiency of utilization of power of railway crane hydraulic equipment, reduced requirements to device providing electrical connection of crane turnable and platform body, reduced weight of railway crane. 2 cl, 3 dwg
