FIELD: veterinary. SUBSTANCE: method involves intramuscular administration of 5 ml medicinal composition at 48 hr interval that contains carbacholine, ascorbic acid and antiseptic - stimulating agent Dorogov fraction-2 (ASD F-2) at the following ratio of components: g-dose: carbacholine 0.0015-0.0025; ascorbic acid 0.9-1.1; (ASD F-2) 0.9-1.1, and distilled water - up to 5 ml. Proposed method prevents placenta retention, decreases cow morbidity with postnatal endometritis, uterus subinvolution, uterus hypotonia and atonia. EFFECT: improved method of prophylaxis.
