FIELD: fire- fighting facilities. SUBSTANCE: fire extinguisher has breakable housing filled with fire-extinguishing material, sprayer with its housing, striker, compressed spring and safety device which locks striker in housing. Sprayer is made in the form of tube passing through layer of fire- extinguishing material and provided with holes made over its entire length and overlapped from inside with sheet material member accommodating powder charge of grain powder. Installed with clearance in member is striker mechanism with capsule in front bottom pointed to powder charge. Striker has rod which is passed outside through hole in housing rear bottom and is locked by means of safety device made of easily melting alloy.
