FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: water intake includes water intake chamber 1, slot of litter catching grid and repair gate 2, fast-response gate 4, wall 5, pressure conduit 6, aeration pipe 7, by-pass 8 and lifting mechanism 3 to serve gates and grade. The gate is made in the form of flexible elastic shell 10, provided with hoist 32, additional by-pass pipe 9, fixer of shell position 27, and flexible water conduit 16 and air duct 17. Major part of flexible shell 10 is filled with water and partially with air, and provided with ballast 25 in its lower part. It is provided with adjusting device 13 in its upper part. The device is connected to hoist 32 through cable 31, and through air duct 17 to compressor 29, and to buoy 30 through flexible water conduit. Besides compressor 29 and hoist 31 are installed at upper area of the water intake, additional by-pass pipe 9 is placed in concrete body below edge of pressure water conduit 6, and fixer 27 of shell 10 position is placed at inlet of pressure water conduit 6.
