FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves performing full median sternotomy, pulmonectomy, and tracheal bifurcation resection. Then pleural cavity is opened by dissecting mediastinal pleura, left pulmonary artery is separated from the left main bronchus and the whole bronchus is translocated into the left pleural cavity and placed in front of the left lung artery and aortic arc. Tracheobronchial anastomosis is formed to the left or above the aortic arc. Then, the left pulmonary ligament is destroyed and left lung superior lobe pneumonopexy to pleural cavity vault is performed. EFFECT: reduced tension of anastomosis; excluded sharp bending of the main bronchus.
