FIELD: building materials production. SUBSTANCE: ceramic articles are made of a charge on the base of clay with additions of silicate bearing wastes. Heating and partial cooling is cycled. Temperature of each cycle is risen by 100 - 300 C at 50 - 200 C per minute rate. When cooling temperature of each cycle is lowered by 10 - 20 C. They proceed with cycles until maximum temperature to carry out isothermal holding during 2 - 3 min. followed by cooling is achieved. EFFECT: reduced roasting time. 1 tbl
