FIELD: transportation. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to container shipment of cargoes, in particular to special containers designed to ensure safe shipment, storage, assembly and servicing of ecology- and explosion-risky cargoes, predominantly large-sized cargoes, in zones of increased terrorist hazard and social tension, in case of emergencies when fires of transportation and auxiliary means may happen and so on. Container for explosion-risky cargoes incorporates internal armored chamber made of two parts: cap-shaped base of low fit and separable bell-shaped cover which outer side carries separable face and intermediate steel shields positioned concentrically. Shock-absorbing obstacle is placed between cover and intermediate steel shield. Chamber is provided with internal and external thermal protection Face steel shield is made in the form of mounted deviation-splitting obstacle, intermediate shield is manufactured in the form of armored dissipative obstacle and shock-absorbing obstacle is fabricated in the form of flat spiral of high-strength sheet steel perforated with round holes. EFFECT: increased operational reliability and safety with provision of high level of maintainability thanks to blocking properties of cargo protection from hitting factors of conventional weapons and fire protection of cargo. 4 cl, 21 dwg
