SUBSTANCE: method for treatment of patients ill with chronic nonspecific prostatitis includes rectal application of naphthalene free of resin in volume of 35-40 ml at temperature of 41-42 C in ten procedures daily in combination with naphthalene-paraffin mastic application to shorts zone at temperature of 53-55 C with procedure duration of 25-30 min and number of procedures of 15, three of which are performed every other, and the rest, daily, and massage of prostate, eight procedures performed every other day.
