FIELD: production of trioxane using aqueous solution of formaldehyde. SUBSTANCE: initially 40-85 mass % aqueous solution of formaldehyde is prepared. Thus prepared solution is fed into reactor being filled with solid acid catalyst for synthesis of trioxane and is heated there. Thus obtained aqueous solution of formaldehyde which contains trioxane is extracted with organic solvent. said solvent does not produce azeotropic mixture with trioxane. Aqueous phase being prepared during extraction and containing formaldehyde is removed into reactor and organic phase being prepared during extraction is fed into rectification column for separation it into trioxane and organic solvent. Trioxane is drawn from the top of said column, organic solvent being drawn from the bottom of said column. EFFECT: decreases energy expense during whole the process. 5 cl, 1 tbl, 3 dwg
