SUBSTANCE: method for shutoff of water inflow to producing well includes stopping of injection into injection wells, hydrodynamically connected with producing well. Withdrawal of product from producing well is forced to reduce the bottom hole pressure below the pressure of gas saturation. Poured into casing-to-borehole annulus of producing well is water shutoff composition and forced into formation with hydrocarbon fluid. Withdrawal of product from producing well is discontinued. EFFECT: higher efficiency of water shutoff in producing well.
