FIELD: oil and gas producing industry, particular, hydrocarbon gels used in hydraulic fracturing of oil and gas formations. SUBSTANCE: gel-like hydrocarbon composition for formation hydraulic fracturing is prepared by mixing in the medium of hydrocarbon fluid of gel-formation agent, activator, complexing agent, and destructor. Gel-formation agent is used in form of organic orthophosphoric ethers. Activator is used in form of aluminum isopropylate-ethylacetoacetate C12H23O5AI•AI(OC3H7)3. Complexing agent is used in form of triethanolamine N(C2H4OH)3 in the amount of 0.03-0.3 1 per liter of gel-formation agent. Destructor is used in form of sodium carbonate in the amount of 0.5-2.0 kg per liter of gel-formation agent. EFFECT: gel-like hydrocarbon composition features high viscosity, heat resistance and improved filtering characteristics along with easy preparation under field conditions. 5 tbl
