GRAIN FLOW DIVIDER Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture; grain cleaning devices. SUBSTANCE: grain flow divider has inlet pipe 1 with two outlet pipes 3, 4 and divider proper 5. Divider 5 is made in form of triangular prism with vertex pointed to side of inlet pipe 1. Made in central portion of divider are holes for axle-shaft 6 by means of which divider is mounted on housing of outlet pipes 3, 4; mounted on each side face of prism, successively from base to vertex, are three grain velocity reducers, each made on two left springs 8, 9 in contact with each other. Springs 8 of two pairs of reducer are made convex, and rear springs 9 are made flat and are secured in lower portion of side faces of reducer at obtuse angle to faces. Each upper spring 8 of any pair is made shorter than other spring 8 of the same pair. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 dwg
