FIELD: devices for separation of toxic substances, such as dioxines and furans from flue gases, for example, in rubbish incineration units at smoke duct inlet. SUBSTANCE: to absorb aromatic toxic substances in filter reservoir, activated carbon is mixed with water (30 to 40 percent by volume) and flue gas is passed through mixture of activated carbon with water in form of fine jets. Mounted in filter housing above outlet of gas supply and water supply pipes for gas distribution is partition, mixing device being mounted in branch pipe fitted at bottom of housing. Activated carbon suspension saturated with toxic substances is removed and is replaced with fresh dry activated carbon and water. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 6 cl, 1 dwg
