FIELD: increase of pressure and motion of gases. SUBSTANCE: working wheels 8 and 8a are connected in series in way of flow and are secured on two or more rotors 6 which are located in parallel to each other. Rotor 6 are provided with teeth set in motion directly by central wheel 5 or indirectly through rotors 6 are perimeter of central wheel 5. Several working wheels 8 and 8a of high-pressure stages following the low-pressure stages (first rotor, or first and second rotors) after second or third rotor 6 are mounted in succession one after another. They are provided with intermediately connected disk-type diffusers 9 and return motion ring 10 fitted on at least one end of toothed rotor 6. By reversing the flow, i.e. admitting the gas at high pressure side and discharging it at low-pressure side at simultaneous reversing the sense of rotation (at principally similar construction) radial expander is formed.
