FIELD: equipment for stapling of threadlike materials in form of threads or ropes. SUBSTANCE: installed above through rectangular chamber is means for laving threadlike material into chamber and means for its ramming into chamber. Through ports in form of parallel slots through whish cutting members pass into chamber are made on two opposite longitudinal walls of the chamber. Located in case under the chamber is means for separation, layer by layer, of fibers coming from chamber. Means has cutting off members installed for their location parallel to direction of fiber orientation in chamber or at angle not in excess of 60 deg to it. Cutting members are made in form of strips fastened to belt conveyer. Means for layer separation of fibers may be made in form of cylindrical brush. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 4 dwg
