FIELD: thermal engineering. SUBSTANCE: high-speed moisture separator has a number of guide vanes 11 mounted in steam-line bend 5 and provided with slots 15 on concave wall 12 which pass along its generating line. Guide vanes 11 are hollow structures communicating with space of low-pressure chamber 6 embracing steam-line bend 5. Walls 12, 13 of guide vanes 11 are thin and made of sheet material; each vane is built up of two parts or walls one of which (wall 13) overlaps wall 12 and both joined together through overlapping weld 14. Stiffening ribs 17, 18 are installed in steam-line bend 5 crosswise of generating lines of guide vanes 11 which join guide vanes together to form cascade and connect them to walls of steam-line bend 5.
