FIELD: thermal engineering; operation of combined-cycle plants in conjunction with waste-heat boilers burning liquid sulfuric fuel. SUBSTANCE: condensate temperature at waste-heat boiler outlet and feedwater temperature at deaerator outlet are measured. Prior to feeding condensate to waste-heat boiler, it is heated in steam-water heater. Stem flow rate to steam-water heater is maintained according to desired condensate temperature in deaerator; to reduce temperature of condensate leaving waste-heat boiler, steam flow rate to steam-water heater is decreased and to increase water temperature at deaerator outlet, steam flow to steam-water heater is increased.
