FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, hand soil tillage tools. SUBSTANCE: electric cultivator has frame and soil tillage tools mounted on frame and provided with electric driving mechanism. Driving mechanism has cable coil. During advancement of cultivator cable is laid along adjacent spacings. Cable is attached on frame by bar pivotally secured on frame. Bar is mounted for rotation in plane transverse to longitudinal axial line of tool. Length of bar is at least half the width of cultivator. EFFECT: increased efficiency in soil cultivation, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 dwg
