FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: hothouse has sectioned rigid carcass defined by end and side walls, roof with two sloping surfaces, light-transparent glass covering, side supporting corner-type members and door in one side wall. Door is formed by film screen which is rolled upward and positioned on strip of longitudinal corner-type member, when door is opened. Each side wall is positioned at an angle of 145-155 deg with respect to two sloping surfaces of roof. Apex angle between sloping surfaces of roof is equal to 90-110 deg. Lower strip of each side corner-type supporting member is oriented outside and defines an angle of 109-112 deg with respect to other strip of corner-type member. Carcass width and height ratio is 1.08-1.58. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 3 dwg
