MUZZLE, MANUFACTURE AND UNIFICATION METHOD Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: muzzle has rigid carcass made from metal wires and provided with eyelets and fastening members such as belts with buckle. Carcass has main forming member and auxiliary wire members of predetermined configuration connectable to main member. Main member is formed as front arc with ends bent in direction perpendicular to main member plane. Bent ends define side surfaces formed as closed figures. Eyelets are formed by auxiliary wire members defining grids on these closed figures. Carcass is further provided with soft liner attached on inner side of upper supporting surface of carcass. Method involves assembling effectuated by contact welding, with assembling process being alternatively combined with forming process. Main member is initially formed as flat sheet with following connection of several auxiliary members to it. Method further involves three-dimensional forming of main member and connecting remaining auxiliary members in jigs; applying coating to article to provide corrosion resistance and impart decorative effect. EFFECT: improved quality, increased corrosion resistance and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 cl, 27 dwg
