FIELD: orthopaedic works. SUBSTANCE: artificial lower extremity has shin and thigh splints 1, connected together by hinge connection, semi-circles 4, foot 3, ankle hinge 6, ankle 7, shin and thigh sleeves 8 and 9 correspondingly, leather swivel 10, belt 11. Neck 3 is made at the area of knee hinge. Neck is made in form of thinning, which allows to bend splints at the area of knee hinge by any angle. As a result, splints (heads) tie lower extremity tightly. Minimal amount of fitting is required for providing maximal cosmetic appearance. EFFECT: improved design of splints. 2 dwg
