FIELD: medical facilities, particularly, prostheses of lower extremities. SUBSTANCE: femur prosthesis has successively joined; artificial foot, ankle, crus, single-axle knee unit made without displacement of axle backward, femur, receiving sleeve with leather pivot and belt. Shoulder belt is connected with knee unit through tie-rod. Knee unit consists of body (crus member), femur support, axle, two-friction bushings (auxiliary and working). Working friction bushing has return spring and is connected with control tie-rod. Axle and auxiliary bushing are locked relative to body. Femur support is located on axle and with its friction surfaces is engageable with working and auxiliary bushings so that working bushing is screwed over axle thread up to contact with femur support by force of return spring in case of absence of control action. EFFECT: provision of reliable fixation of knee hinge at any moment and at any position of crus relative to femur. 5 dwg
