FIELD: mining industry; designed for percussive destruction of rocks. SUBSTANCE: hollow of stepped body of percussive device accommodates stepped sleeve 2 installed for axial motion and closing its exhaust holes 8. Stepped sleeve 8 has channel in its small step part connected with main line supplying compressed air. Installed in sleeve 2 is stepped hammer 3 which forms back stroke chamber 5 together with body 1. Hammer 3 forms forward stroke chamber 6 together with small step of sleeve 2, and forms circular chamber 7 together with large step part. Circular chamber 7 is in constant communication with atmosphere through channel 10 in sleeve 2. Hammer 3 has channel which communicates chambers 5 and 6. Large step part of sleeve 2 forms control chamber 4 together with body 1. Control chamber 4 is periodically communicated with atmosphere and through channel 9 made in sleeve 2 with chamber 6. Three versions of communication of chamber 4 with atmosphere are offered. Percussive device reliably operates with compressed air source of any capacity. EFFECT: higher energy of impact. 10 cl, 4 dwg
