FIELD: mining and construction machinery. SUBSTANCE: introduced into device is additional circular chamber 9 which serves as buffer at reverse stroke of striker 4 (upward stroke). Chamber 9 communicates with atmosphere through additional channel 10. Section of circular chamber is selected to make pressure differential acting from side of reverse stroke chamber 6 exceed the weight of striker 4. As areas of forward stroke chamber 5 and reverse stroke chamber 6 are different, striker 4 is kept in upper position under action of compressed air. When exhaust channel 3 gets opened, reverse stroke chamber 6 communicates with atmosphere and pressure in chamber drops to atmospheric pressure value. Striker 4, under the action of compressed air in forward stroke chamber 5, moves down, striking against lower part of housing 1. EFFECT: increased specific power owing to decreased overall dimensions and simplified design. 2 cl, 2 dwg
