FIELD: mining industry and civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: impact-action device has housing with holes, striker with longitudinal channel, forward and reverse stroke chambers and exhaust system. Valve is installed for axial travel in longitudinal channels of striker. Projections made on inner surface of channel limit valve travel. Seat of valve is arranged in striker at side of forward stroke chamber. Device can be furnished with central rod installed in longitudinal channel of striker. Valve can be made in form of bushing, stepped resilient ring, friction bushing and elastically deformable holder. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 11 cl, 13 dwg
